George Jeffreys founded Elim in 1915, in Monaghan, Ireland, and since then the movement has grown to over 550 in the UK and Ireland, and over 9,000 worldwide.
Elim grew rapidly thanks to a move of God characterized by miraculous healings and an explosion in the number of people becoming Christians. Built upon the understanding of the ‘foursquare gospel,’ in which Jesus is declared to be:

  • Saviour – there is only one way for people to be saved (John 14:6)
  • Healer – that healing is still available today (Luke 4:16-30)
  • Baptizer with Holy Spirit – that it is Jesus who baptizes in the Spirit (Acts 1:5-8)
  • Soon Coming King – that Jesus will physically return to rule and reign forever (John 14:1-3)

Evangelism Our Life style
Our emphasis this year is on one to one evangelism which must begin from a Christlike in our day to day living.
…..let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in Heaven, Matt. 5 v 16.
As we become more like Jesus in the eyes of the unsaved and the community, such a Christlike fellowship, will draw people to us and they will come to know the One we follow.

Our aim in Fountain of Hope is to make every service a tool to drawing souls into His Kingdom, whether in our weekly services , our community outreaches or in taking the gospel to the nations.
